Pastor Todd is a native of Lake Charles, Louisiana and has served in ministry on and off over the last 20 years as a Pastor, Evangelist and Event Speaker. Basketball is also a passion of Todd's heart and he has coached on a high school and college level for 16 years after playing college basketball. Todd's love for hurting people and passion for the things of God are contagious. His heart is to bring unity to our city bridging both races and denominations in effort to see our community restored. After hearing a disturbing statistic that three-fourths of our community are not connected to a church, he was driven to reach those people and bring them into the kingdom of God!
Rochelle Frazier-Foster is a native of Pike County. Rochelle returned home after 18 years with a burden to see her city restored and prosperous. She is an author and speaker and teaches the Word of God to women across the U.S. (Her ministry can be found at rochellefoster.com.) After a devastating diagnosis in 2006, Rochelle became desperate for God's healing. Not only did she find that healing, but she was awakened to a new sense of faith and purpose as a result of it, and now she passionately seeks to awaken others in the church that may have missed the life of a believer that should be marked by fruit, power and love rather than mere church attendance. Rochelle has a passion for freedom and healing ministry and believes it will be a vital part of the DNA of the Well Church, because only free people can truly free people.
The Fosters reside in McComb with their three younger children Holland Rose, Houston and Jackson. Their oldest daughter, Dailey Joy, works for USA Football in Indiana and their oldest son, Jadyn, attends community college in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Dusty and Brittney Davis have a heart for foreign and local missions. If you have been near them for long, your heart will begin to beat for missions too. Dusty has spent most of his life in ministry from a pastor's son to a Youth Pastor and Associate Pastor. Dusty believed they would spend their lives on the foreign mission field, until he began to be burdened for the needs of their own community. Realizing that they didn't have to leave the city to be involved in outreach ministry, they began giving their lives to helping the poor and needy locally. They have opened their home to the homeless and their hearts to many that needed someone to believe they could be different, and the harvest of their lives for the kingdom is plentiful!
The Davises are busy raising two precious daughters, Shiloh and Ariella.
Geoffrey and Ashton have a heart to see the local church thrive and flourish. Having served in many different capacities throughout their time in full-time ministry—including creative ministry, college and young adults ministry, and ministry training schools—the Hearns are looking forward to using their gifts to continue to help people see how they are Born for More right here in Southwest Mississippi. At The Well, they enjoy helping to oversee many of our teams and processes and helping people connect with God through growing and serving!
The Hearns are busy raising two fun and adventurous children, Judah and Amelia.
Our worship team is lead by two dynamic couples, the Swearingens and the Harthornes. Mixing different musical backgrounds and experiences, this humble and talented group helps to create a Sunday worship environment where all feel welcome! Between them they have experience in full time traveling ministry and church planting which helps strengthen our team.
The Swearingens have two beautiful babies, River and Selah.
The Harthornes are blessed with two wonderful children, Gabe and Alana.
The Well church began out of obedience to a vision Rochelle Foster was given to fulfill a call to the city of McComb, MS believing it would be the heart of the next great move of God in the nation. We believe that our city is strategically located in the heart of seven states to birth a revival that will touch our nation. Our city may seem like the least likely place for a radical move of God to be birthed in this unknown, out of the way, small town struggling with issues like poverty, racial division, educational challenges, and various economic hurdles; however, we are believing God that the restoration here will be so impactful that other cities will be drawn to study the culture shift to replicate in their own towns.
And we know that God is moving here.....
We believe this shift is happening :
Through a commitment to prayer.
Through helping people find freedom and purpose.
Through modeling radical generosity.
Through investment in education and the next generation.
Through celebration of differences rather than tolerance.
Through loving our neighbor.
Through releasing hope that overrides the oppression.
Through teaching the TRUTH in love.
Through realigning our lives to the Kingdom rather than modern culture.
Twenty months after launching The Well, we purchased the building we were renting, and began a renovation project to house our new auditorium. We expect to worship in our new building for easter of 2018. We are seeing God move, hearts healed, lives awakened to truth, people set free, and a family of believers that live on PURPOSE.
We covet your prayers. We welcome your family. We would be blessed by you sowing a seed into this vision.
We believe.....THE BEST IS YET TO COME for our community and nation.
